All of us studied about what we are interested in at university. We could
spend precious time together while we were researching there. My team's
theme is "project for a decade". We thought that we wanted to
promote Miyazaki within the next 10 years. So we decided to focus on a
sport, surfing and then we made a plan for Miyazaki to become the Surfing
Mecca of Japan within the next 10 years. We studied at Miyazaki International
College. The professors taught us many ways to implement our project. While
we were conducting our research, we faced various problems. However, thanks
to a lot of people like the professors, teachers and local people, we could
solve the problems and continued with our research. On the other hand,
we also had good experiences such as new findings, bonds with friends and
communication. When we joined a competition called "my project",
we met many students like us. In the competition, we introduced our own
project, the reason why we began to do research, what we learned from it,
and so on. The students who joined it had passions, inquisitiveness, curious
minds etc. We were inspired by them and realized that we have to have things
like what they had to make our dreams come true. From that day, we are
doing our best for our dream: to make Miyazaki become the Surfing Mecca
of Japan. We learned three especially important things in this research.
1, To have a grateful mind 2, Inquisitiveness 3, To have a curious mind,
and I learned that many people are cooperating and working together to
implement one project. Without any help, we could not succeed and continue
our research even after the study is over. We want to keep in mind what
we learned throughout this time. We will never forget this challenging
experience! |
